JBL Professional is now offering the new V20 line array, part of its growing VTX speaker series. With dual 10″ Differential Drive woofers and a compact version of the V25’s D2 Dual Compression Driver and waveguide, it should offer a very tight and crisp sounding audio from a very compact package. This new cabinet also features new integrated rigging hardware, which has been getting excellent reviews on ease of setting angles. The V20 also has a matching flyable dual 15″ subwoofer featuring the same drivers as the V25 cabinet.
This smaller-format line array is a very high quality cabinet which should give JBL Professional a competitive edge with some of the flagship compact systems like the new Martin MLA Mini, or the Meyer Mina.
A great speaker system for live music, the V20 was debuted at the 2014 Winter NAMM Show. This cabinet would be great for sound reinforcement companies like Henley Audio, and other pro audio rental houses. We can look forward to seeing this system perform this summer through selected audio companies and it should make some high-quality (sound) waves in the concert production world.
